Meet Britni

Welcome to my page! I’m Britni, a wedding photographer based in beautiful Lakeland, FL, and I’m so excited you’re here. My journey into photography has been illuminated over the past few years, thanks to Jesus and the love and encouragement of my amazing community.

Let me tell you a little secret: photographing weddings fills my heart the way that first sip of hot coffee warms your soul in the morning—it’s pure joy! While studying photography in Graphic Design school, I fell head over heels for capturing the beauty and emotion of weddings. There’s something so special about documenting the laughter, happy tears, and unforgettable moments of two people celebrating their forever.

My Story

I met my husband in 2018 at our home church in Lakeland. Finding a godly man with a big heart for service and a kindred spirit was a blessing. Within a week of dating, Will knew he wanted to marry me. I thought, "Yeah, right." But God works wonders when we are faithful and serving Him. Within a year, we were married. August 18, 2018, was the most special day of my life. Surrounded by friends and family, we said "I do" in our beloved church.

Our life together has been a beautiful journey of love. We went on vacations and spent quality time with our family. I loved serving in children's ministry, and Will was devoted to the Celebrate Recovery ministry. Like any couple, we had our ups and downs, but we worked hard and loved each other through it all. One day, I felt a deep emptiness in my heart, a longing only a child of my own could fill. We started praying for our future child. In January 2020, God answered our prayers. In September 2020, our son Ian was born, the greatest gift we could ever receive. He was born with a congenital birth defect called tracheoesophageal fistula, meaning his trachea was attached to his esophagus.

It was a challenging time, made even harder by the pandemic. But eventually, we were able to bring Ian home. Now, he is four and thriving. We know we have a journey ahead of us, but I am blessed to walk it with the love of my life and our supportive family.
