Abby and David’s wedding day perfectly reflected everything they love most—coastal charm, timeless details, and celebrating with the people who matter most. With soft blue accents, elegant white florals, and Sarasota Bay as their backdrop, every part of their day felt effortless and inviting.
As their photographer, I loved documenting the genuine joy they shared throughout the day. From emotional moments with family to a packed dance floor at the end of the night, their wedding was full of moments that reminded everyone why they were there.

Located along Sarasota Bay, Powel Crosley Estate offers couples a unique combination of waterfront views and historic architecture. The venue’s Mediterranean-inspired design creates a timeless backdrop while the expansive lawn overlooking the water provides an unforgettable ceremony setting.
One of my favorite things about photographing weddings at Powel Crosley Estate is the variety it offers. Couples have access to waterfront views, mature oak trees, elegant architecture, and beautiful indoor spaces, all within a short walking distance.
For Abby and David, it was the perfect setting for the coastal-inspired wedding they envisioned.
Getting Ready at Powel Crosley Estate
The morning began with Abby getting ready surrounded by her closest family and friends. One of the sweetest parts of the day was seeing the bond she shares with her family, especially her grandmother and dad.
Before the ceremony, Abby spent time putting the finishing touches on her bridal look. Her gown featured delicate lace details and an elegant silhouette that perfectly complemented the timeless feel of the venue.
Meanwhile, David spent the morning with his groomsmen, enjoying every moment leading up to the ceremony. The excitement and anticipation continued to build as guests arrived and gathered along the waterfront lawn.

The ceremony took place overlooking Sarasota Bay beneath Florida’s beautiful coastal skies.
Guests were welcomed with sweeping waterfront views framed by lush greenery and elegant floral arrangements. White florals lined the aisle while the bay created a stunning backdrop for Abby and David’s vows.
One of my favorite moments was watching them walk back down the aisle as newlyweds, surrounded by cheering family and friends. The excitement was contagious and set the tone for the rest of the celebration.
Portraits Around Powel Crosley Estate
After the ceremony, we explored some of my favorite portrait locations around the property.
The estate offers endless opportunities for timeless wedding portraits, from the historic architecture to the waterfront views. Abby and David were completely at ease together, making every portrait feel natural and genuine.
Their soft blue and white wedding palette photographed beautifully against the warm tones of the estate. The romantic waterfront portraits and veil photos quickly became some of my favorites from the day.
Coastal-Inspired Wedding Reception Details
The reception design perfectly captured the couple’s coastal vision.
Soft blue hydrangeas, white blooms, woven chargers, and delicate blue accents created an elegant yet relaxed atmosphere. Every detail felt thoughtfully chosen while still allowing the beauty of the venue to shine.
The design blended beautifully with the waterfront setting and created a welcoming space for guests to celebrate throughout the evening.
Dancing the Night Away
Once the formalities were over, Abby and David were ready to celebrate.
The dance floor stayed full as family and friends joined them for an evening of laughter, dancing, and unforgettable memories. One thing that stood out throughout the entire day was how much fun these two genuinely have together.
Whether they were sharing quiet moments during portraits or dancing with their guests, their joy was impossible to miss.
Their wedding was the perfect reminder that the best celebrations aren’t just beautiful—they’re filled with people you love and moments you’ll never forget.
